Hi, I'm Caroline Waldron. I'm currently a senior in the Rollins College of Business. I plan to graduate in May 2019 with a degree in Marketing with a minor in Communications. I'm from Maryville, TN.
While at UTC, I am proud to say I made Chattanooga my home through getting involved on and off campus. Within the Rollins College of Business, I have been an active member of the Dean's Student Advisory Council. Currently, I serve as a Freshman Senate advisor for the Student Government Association. In that role, for which I have served in for two years, I advise 50+ freshman UTC students in training for leadership development, event planning, and student advocacy.
Throughout my time at UTC I have been involved in numerous student organizations, including, but not limited to, the Homecoming Student Steering Committee, Omega Phi Alpha National Service Sorority, St. Jude Up 'til Dawn, and the Resident Hall Association. I have also served as a resident advisor for UTC Housing for 3 years and as a Chancellor's Ambassador for the UTC Chancellor's Office. While at UTC, I am lucky enough to have attended numerous leadership conferences such as LeaderShape, TARH, LeadUTC, SAACURH, and the Women's Leadership Academy. I am also an active Girl Scout volunteer.
I currently work as an analyst at The Johnson Group, an advertising agency located in downtown Chattanooga. Throughout my time in college, I have had a variety of different internships with companies such as Handup Gloves and the Chattanooga Zoo. After graduation, I hope to work in data analytics full time and to pursue a data focused MBA program.
ThinkAchieve has given me an opportunity to embrace all that UTC has to offer and then some. I am forever thankful for the opportunity to get involved and engaged with my campus and community.
